Welcome to the Canny Grapes Champagne Club
After four years of sharing her knowledge and passion for champagne, creating and hosting champagne events in Perth, building a loyal community, visiting the Champagne region and travelling for champagne events within Australia, it is time to to take the next step and launch the CG Champagne Club. The club is for passionate champagne lovers, professional and non-professional, who meet on a regular basis tasting, exploring, learning and celebrating each cuvée, its origin, the growers and houses, the art of winemaking and the region itself.
Anja’s passion for champagne was ignited when she entered the 2016 Vin de Champagne Awards studying tirelessly all about champagne and becoming one of six professional finalists in Australia. Ever since the awards, Anja has invited wine lovers and champagne enthusiasts to appreciate and celebrate the incredibly complex world of French champagne. With over three-hundred champagne houses and thousands of growers the journey through Champagne is a true odyssey.
The CG Champagne Club is a private, educational club with bi-monthly themed tastings & dining experiences in a small group setting, including special guests from the industry. The annual membership includes a minimum of six tutored tastings, gaining an in depth knowledge and understanding of champagne, access to the CG champagne library and subscription to Australia’s only Champagne Magazine Vine & Bubble, a boutique and independent magazine dedicated to telling the story of the wine behind the bubbles.
